Why Must Brilliance Not Be Admired at the Right Times
I've often wondered why many people didn't get their stars on the walk of fame while they were alive. Why weren't people admired and honored during their lifetimes? I've always been the hugest Betty Hutton fan. For some unknown reason, maybe reports of her being difficult, but come on in that time what starlet wasn't, she was allowed by the public to fade away into oblivion. She went from being the best new actress on the scene to being a lowly cook. The public basically said no to her. Then after her death, people realized her contribution. The same thing goes with artists, why are they only celebrated after their deaths? I know this is random, it has just always bothered me.

Because a lot of times you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone. Same story all the time.
